The reason I ask is I am about to purchase an iMac and have a JVC Everio w/ tons of .MOD files. If I can utilize your method, without converting, that would be great.

    the camera is great …
    the camera is great, however the Everio Browser is junk..mine worked great for 3 months and now it will not connect to you tube any longer, Pixela says that they do not have a fix yet….so dont buy this if you are going to use you tube

    I have the same jvc and i can get it to work on mac or windows, on your video u open i movie, my mac doesn’t have i movie, where can i get it and maybe free,,, thanks for helping out,

    ntsc cannot describe the type of mac you have. ntsc is a video format, not a computer format

    i use a pc and ive exported vids to my computer b4 but i forgot how and its really bugging me cuz when i click export it jsut makes me wait for a few minutes then takes me to a screen where i cant find any videos! if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated

    ure right that it brings them up as an .mod file, and normally editing programs dont recognize them, what u should do is say if ure file name is

    movie.MOD

    rename the file to a mpg, so it would become and mp

    movie,mpg,

    that should help u
